I had a decent stay at the hotel with some highlights and low points. The location is absolutely beautiful and offers stunning views right by the water, and the staff was generally friendly and efficient. However, the rooms left a bit to be desired with some signs of wear, and the dining experience had a few hiccups with the food quality. Overall, it's a solid choice but there's definitely room for improvement.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was fantastic right on the river, and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. However, my room in the garden house fell short of my expectations, especially with the bedding and bathroom size. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, especially because the location was superb, right on the water's edge in Port Alfred.
